The EK HF receiver.

Aircraft radio communication system FuG 10

The standard aircraft radio communication system FuG10 for all larger Luftwaffe aircraft is shown here as a
complete, fully-interconnected and working
demonstration system

The complete, working FuG10 exhibit.

The FuG 10
featured:

MF and HF radiotelegraphy

Flight crew intercommunication via
a built-in interphone

Air-to-air & air-to-ground HF radiotelephony (with modulator unit)

In 1936-37, the firm of Lorenz AG* developed the aircraft radio system FuG 10 for the Luftwaffe.
Starting from 1939, it became the preferred equipment for larger aircraft with several crew members (e.g. Ju 88, He 111, DO 217, ME 110).

The  FuG 10 set was officially standardised. By the end of WW2, Lorenz AG and numerous licensees had built nearly 300,000 sets.

Legend:

E = Receiver
S = Transmitter

L = MF (long-wave)
K = HF (short-wave)

Thus,

EL = MF receiver

Among these are:
Circuit breakers (power on/off, overload protection),
HF and MF transmitters and receivers  (EL - SL - EK - SK) - each with four preset frequencies,
Antenna remote-control box - radio set selection, antenna tuning (fixed or trailing-wire antenna), pay-out and and rewind of the electrically-powered  trailing-wire antenna (length 75 m),
Radio operator switchbox - central control unit for the crew headset/microphones plugged in to the system,
Radiotelephony unit for mode selection (telegraphy/telephony),
Morse key for radiotelegraphy, also used as press-to-talk key for radiotelephony.

Crew headset socket, with volume control and call key.
